Who are you hiring when you call Roeling Green Lawns?
You're hiring a crew that grew out of one sprinkler business. Jeremy Roeling grew up in Orlando and started in irrigation in 1996. One summer it would not stop raining, and while he was at a customer's house he said he was thinking about buying a lawnmower. She told him that if he did, he was hired.
So he bought the setup. Mowing led to landscaping, landscaping led to tree work by about 2000, and in 2007 he opened Roeling Green Lawns. He's still out on the jobs himself, whether that's a crane pick in Windermere or a mulch bed. That history is why we can take down an oak, fix the sprinkler line it crushed and put the yard back together without handing you off to anybody else. Thirty years in, Jeremy still likes to watch a new sprinkler system come on for the first time, with the spray pattern right and a little fog hanging off the heads.

What can we do for your trees and your yard?
Most of it, and tree work comes first. We take trees down, trim oaks and palms, fix and install sprinklers, design landscapes and lay sod.
Tree Removal
Bobcats, a bucket truck and a track lift handle most of it. When a tree is too big or too boxed in, we rent a crane, and a crane can take a whole tree out in six or seven picks.

Tree Trimming
We go up spikeless on any tree that's staying, or work from the bucket truck. Spikes bring disease into a live oak, so they only come out on removals. One Orange City job covered about 15 palms and five or six live oaks.

Irrigation
This is the work Jeremy started with. We track down lost valves, replace pumps and timers, design new systems, and cut through roots with a Sawzall when a broken line calls for it.

We plant trees, build beds and spread mulch. We can also design in fruit that will survive here, so your family can walk out and pick it.

When a lawn is past saving, we strip the old turf, fix the grade and lay new bahia, Floratam or CitraBlue sod.

Yes, and it's work we want more of. Many of the overgrown yards we see are at foreclosed houses, where nobody has touched the grass or the beds in a long time. We go in, mow it all down, and haul away everything ourselves, so you won't be renting a dumpster or making runs to the dump.
After that, you decide how far to go. Some owners stop at a clean yard. That's fine. Others add sprinkler repair or landscape design, whatever fits the budget for that house. Did you buy a place that looks like a jungle from the street, or do you manage one that's getting letters from the city? Call us before the grass gets any taller. We'll walk the property with you, tell you what it takes to get the yard looking right, and price each step so you can stop wherever the money runs out.
What happens after you call?
We come out, you get a price, and we clean up before we leave. It runs the same way on a one palm trim and a crane job, and you'll know the cost before any work starts.

Tell us about the tree or the yard. We can usually be there within 24 to 48 hours, and the estimate is free. Point out what worries you, like the pool cage or the neighbor's fence.
You Get a Plan
We'll tell you what equipment the job needs and what it costs. A big tree may need a crane, like our crane tree removal in Windermere. Cranes are scarce, so that wait can run up to two weeks.
We Do the Work and Haul It Off
Everything gets cut up, chipped and taken away. We recycle as much as we can. Some of the wood sells as firewood, and fruit growers take chips to put around their trees. Want to keep the wood? Say so.

Where do we work in Central Florida?
We're based in DeLand and work across Volusia, Lake and Seminole counties. Plenty of our tree work comes out of Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach. Sprinkler calls come from all over, with many in DeLand, Orange City and DeBary. We've run crane jobs in Orange City and Deltona, and we've driven out for one palm in a front yard.
We go farther than that for the right job. Jeremy grew up in Orlando and put in years of work out in Windermere, and we're glad to make the drive to Eustis and the rest of Lake County.
